Why Quality Counts
We live in an age of exponential change, and the rate at which knowledge is being created in every area
of human activity is unprecedented in the history of civilizations. And therefore, how we teach, and
what we teach, both are constantly evolving, necessitating transformation in educational ecosystems.
A great deal of short and long term planning, robust assessment of status quo, and a rigorous follow up
is required to ensure a visible impact on performance of teachers as they unlearn and relearn to meet
their students’ needs. Most organizations find it difficult to make time for or access the right resources
to bring about this change.
At the Adaptive teacher, we fully understand the challenges this poses for individuals as well as
institutions. To us, training is not an assignment that is delivered but a commitment to raising standards
and making a difference. Therefore, each training commitment begins with an assessment of what the
client needs, as well as the entry level of trainees. This data is used to tailor training sessions for optimal
receptivity and immediate application to practice.
Quality Counts also offers to establish processes and systems in order to strengthen and sustain the
impact of training to ensure the institution as a whole, and the individuals,
Training Services:
Teacher Mentoring
At The Adaptive Teacher, teacher development includes strengthening of conceptual understanding of
content as well as a deep understanding of how children learn them. At the heart of mentoring and
coaching lies the belief that each teacher has a strength that can be honed, and an area for
development that can be supported through handholding. Personalized and genuine feedback helps
teachers take ownership for their own growth which ensures the impact of training continues for life.
The creation of learning communities where teachers help each other grow is a hall mark of QC, and has
created work cultures that are conducive to professional development and hence organizational growth.
Leadership Coaching
Leaders are change makers, and provide direction and impetus needed for organizational success.
Quality Count ensures potential leaders are identified and groomed to provide mentorship and direction
to their teams. Leaders learn about their own style of leadership and how they can use it effectively to
drive improvement . Among the many skills they develop, perhaps the most important one is the
development of a keen perception of what makes quality learning and how it is visible in classrooms to
reflect student progress. Leadership training also covers various tools and techniques that help them
design an inclusive curriculum and plan its implementation , ensuring holistic development of students
beyond academic excellence to include student socio emotional skills and well being.
Student Development
The gen Z will walk into a world that is yet undefined, which essentially means they must be equipped
with skills needed for self-directed independent learning: intrinsic motivation, self-regulation and
determination to overcome challenges. Student development programs at Quality Counts aim at
developing self-awareness, informed decision making and problem solving skills. Students develop the
growth mind set and use mistakes as stepping stones to success. Knowing their own learning style, using
different learning strategies and practicing metacognition provide students with a learning pathway that
is self-propelling and sustainable. As one student put it, “It has changed the way I think about myself.
Never thought I could achieve so much”.
Whole school improvement
Although the Teaching and Learning Process is at the heart of educational organization, the pivotal role
that the many processes play to support its effectiveness, cannot be stressed enough. Quality Count
trains Leaders and administrative staff to establish systems , processes and procedures to ensure
recruitment and induction, admissions, curriculum design and review, school internal and external
assessments , infrastructure planning and technology integration ,are all aligned to enhance and
expedite the attainment of organizational vision and mission.
It adopts a whole school approach to improvement planning, involving all stake holders at different
levels of action planning. While this ensures ownership and accountability rests with individuals,
collaborative efforts between different sections and personnel drive change consistently and
continuously.
Early Years Programme
Quality Counts bespoke early years training equips teachers and leaders to create a play based provision
for young learners 3-6 yrs, based on exploration and free play. Teachers also receive a plethora of
resource ideas to create zero budget resources, and context based learning material that are culturally
relevant to the children they care for. Adequate support is provided to teachers to strengthen their own
knowledge base. This enables them to design lessons that are stimulating and provide adequate
